EXCURSIONS

The Sanctuary has breeding groups of endangered animals no longer found on mainland Australia, such as eastern quolls, southern bettongs, and red-bellied  pademelons, as well as the Aussie favourites, koalas, kangaroos, and wombats.

We can accommodate groups of up to 80 students, for hourly sessions, half or full day programs.

Sessions can be held on subjects such as:

                 Endangered species breeding and management

                 Marsupial diversity

                 Feral animals

                 Habitat restoration

                 Careers with animals

                 Southern Australian bio-diversity

These topics can be structured for primary and secondary schools, and university levels.

There are plenty of other fun things to do nearby!

We can build a full program for your students, as well as suggesting accommodation ranging from camp-style to 4 star hotels.

Our education and conservation breeding programs link us with nearby research institutes and universities, making us an ideal venue for visiting educational groups from overseas.
